New Shanghai Melbourne Central Celebrates Lunar New Year of the Snake with a specially crafted 9 course feast.

Available from 20 January to 12 February 2025.

We celebrate the Year of the Snake, representing the symbol of wisdom.

To bring good fortune and prosperity for the Lunar New Year, come and celebrate the larges festival on the Lunar calendar with your friends, families or colleagues.

Lunar New Year traditions mark a time to gather at the table and send wishes for a prosperous and happy year to come.

The menu features a collection of dishes typically eaten during Lunar New Year for their symbolic meaning.   

Start with signature Steamed Xiao Long Bao, Spicy Crab and Chinese Rice Cake Stir-fry, Steamed Whole Sea Bass, Shanghai Braised Pork Knuckle.  

Follow with a Wok Fried Pumpkin with Salted Egg Yolk, Seasonal Asian Green and Yangzhou Fried Rice.  

Finish with Black Sesame Sticky Rice Ball. 

Menu also include one jug of Mountain Goat Pale Ale, Chinese Tea, Purezza Sparkling or Still Water.
